A 18aa synthetic peptide corresponding to C-terminus human CD133.
Background
CD133, originally known as AC133, is a glycoprotein, also known in humans and rodents as Prominin 1 (PROM1). CD133 is a member of pentaspantransmembraneglycoproteins (5-transmembrane, 5-TM), which specifically localize to cellular protrusions. CD133 is expressed in hemtopoietic stem cells, endothelial progenitor cells, glioblastoma, neuronal and glial stem cells, virous pediatric brain tumors as well as adult kidney, mammary glands, trachea salivary glands, placenta, digestive tract, testes, and some other cell types.
PURIFICATION The Rabbit IgG is purified by Epitope Affinity Purification | SPECIFICITY This antibody recognizes ~97 kDa of mouse or rat CD133 protein from mouse embryonic stem cells lystes by Western blot. This antibody reacts with human, rat and mouse. The other species are not tested. |
FORMULATION This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphate buffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer. | STORAGE The antibodies are stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored at –20oC. The antibodies can be stored at 2oC-8oC for one month without detectable loss of activity.Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles. |
